Fashion Design

The Fashion Design course is aimed at those who want to work as designers in the fashion world. Fashion is an integral part of Life. Learning fashion is a creative and changeling thing to pursue. Basic Principles of designing, Figure drawing, Design motifs, Introduction to Textile, Elementary Pattern making, Pattern Development, Introduction to Sewing, Lectures in Merchandising, Quality Control and Costing, Presentation, and Studio design works. The course is aimed at those who want to work as designers in the textile of fashion industries. IOD is introducing them to all areas of the textile and fashion field. IOD helps to build up a high level of creativity and professional competence in them with guidance from tutors and visits.

Interior Design

Interior design is a set of aesthetically pleasing but efficient solutions for better use of the space. The goal of interior design is to improve the user experience by better managing the space available – make every space creatively and aesthetics in an aspiring way. Interior design, words like creativity spring to mind – Professional interior designers will usually follow a set of informal “rules”, based on specific interior design principles and elements. These interior design elements include space, line, forms, light, colour, texture, pattern, and keeping them balanced is the key to creating an aesthetically pleasing interior to enhancing the appearance of a space. Getting these elements to work together in harmony will also bring increased functionality. To start, an interior designer will assess the room according to these interior design elements, and then use them to disguise or enhance the various features and flaws of the space.

Fine Arts

Fine art refers to performing art forms, including painting, sculpture, dance, theatre, architecture, and printmaking. Fine art is an art developed primarily for aesthetics or beauty, distinguishing it from decorative art or applied art which also has to serve some practical function, such as pottery or most metalwork. The highest art was that, which allows the full expression and display of the artist’s imagination, unrestricted by any of the practical considerations involved in making and decorating a teapot.
